Argyle has been operating in the schoolwear market for over 30 years. We supply direct to primary, intermediate and secondary schools throughout New Zealand. 

4 years ago we were manufacturing several thousand garments a week therefore the need for an automatic cutting solution was becoming a major issue for our company.After looking at several options we decided to purchase a Pathfinder cutting machine. 

The impact of buying Pathfinder was positive from day one as the machine was capable of cutting up to 2,000 units a day which was about double that we could cut by hand. We were also able to reduce overtime and increase our W.I.P. to comfortable levels. 

In the four years we have operated Pathfinder the only breakdown we have had was a blade snapped the tip off. Pathfinder is extremely robust and operates 12 hours a day 6 days a week. The back up support from the Pathfinder team is great and what is even better is that we seldom get to call them as the machine is very reliable. 

Now that Pathfinder has an off load display unit which can be retro fitted we are saving thousands of dollars a year in paper markers. It is good to see continuous improvements being made. 

We are able to train new staff on Pathfinder very quickly as the system is very simple and user friendly.
